It’s 17 July on a Saturday morning, currently it’s 4.59AM and it’s raining, Awesome time of the night to rain and blog, So for this post, I’m gonna be writing up a movie review which I had been wanting to do so for a very long time.
I don’t usually write a review on movies, But movies that are worth writing up or deserve a thumbs up, I will write about it.

So, Few months back, I wrote up a post on『よなよなペンギン』-CoCo, which was about this girl name CoCo which she likes penguin a lot I suppose, and she believe that one day she could fly.

What happen was, I actually missed the movie in my local cinema, Which i was a little disappointed, So few days back, I gave a search and saw someone blog about the DVD are already been release out into the market, and so i gave it a try.
Was meeting up with Situ, Greg & Negi, I came across this Video store, Walk right in, Glance through the shelves, and i can’t believe i found it.

Too bad it was a code 3, I really find Code 3 or Region 3 items kinda **** Up, get what i mean? PS3 games or movies or all sorts of crap, They just love to have censorship stamp right on your face.

Yea back to the Movie, Who cares? I mean after all I’m just after the story, WHICH might have cut-scenes due to region censorship or whatsoever.
So yea, I can’t wait to watch it, and it’s the only 2 left on the shelve, Might as well just grab it.

So if anyone of you happen to found a Code 1 version of this movie, Please inform me through any forms of contact you wish, I will have something for you in exchange, and this apply to locals only, Sorry, I won’t be going to the extend of paying shipping fees to import Code 1 in, Unless i can confirm it’s 100% Genuine, then I’ll consider about it.

There might be some Spoiler in the following, So you have been notified about it. LoL =D
CoCo’s face is just 1 of a kind, Totally cute.

Yona Yona Penguin the movie kinda give you the feel, like you’re trying to complete a quest, Remember how we use to complete those RPG Quest on PS2 / PS1 and there’s always this final boss map feeling that got you so into it.
Do expect it from this movie also.

Like i mention above, It’s almost like a 5 character select thingy, where you meet new people on the quest.

Alright, This is the touching part, CoCo’s father appearance at this moment really do have a impact, Well, If you’re the kind of person who puts yourself into the movie, You’re definitely gonna feel it. Just #@$!@ awesome. LoL Seriously.

This is the so called ” BOSS ” , every animation there’s always 1 of them. Which obviously this evil “one” sucks. I have to be honest, he sucks. I didn’t even see him do any destruction and he’s dead.

This is the final part where everyone got saved, But I don’t really like the ending pretty much, even though to many it’s good in it’s way, But i just find it not the “right” ending to use.

Alright, and last, This is on my end, my personal rant on the Licensed Distributor company. ( Nothing to do with the movie ),

I don’t really know which company did the sub for this, It’s pathetic, Seriously, Not every sentence are sub. time to time, you have to think again or watch back what they said. I assume probably it’s was done by the translator from the Licensed Distributor company.

That’s it, I find it more like a summarize review then a complete review.

Cosfest IX ’2010 @ Downtown East, D’Marquee, Singapore.
So that’s where Cosfest took place at, Yea whatever.

I can’t remember how long or since when did i started to go for Cosfest, maybe 2 or 3 years back i suppose, I went back then as Cosplayer and now coming again as Photographer, and while this time i was at the event, So much fun can be seen around, and really was giving me the 2nd thought of joining again as a cosplayer.

Fun was definitely yes, lots of them, But from time to time, You also get to see some random people.
So for now, I’m gonna post up photo’s from the event, But don’t be expecting lots of photos, I just don’t understand why i didn’t snap a lot of photos for some reason.

So right after entering Cosfest, There’s a booth with meido’s giving out pamphlets regarding a Maid Cafe which is coming soon to Singapore.
Will update with that when it’s open. =D

StreetFest was around the corner before Cosfest, I actually posted this after Posting on Cosfest, So I had to enter a random date of Post to prevent this from popping out at a wrong timeline, I can’t even rmb when i edited this, but the event itself actually happened on 13 June, 2010.
So StreetFest did happen at both places? according to some Cosplayer, Scape@Orchard were also another part of StreetFest, So which one did you went to actually?

Ok, So apparently, I didn’t took much photos, Not that I’m lazy or whatever, But i have to be honest this time, A lot of new cosplayer were either half-asses, or can’t be bother to put in effort, So i didn’t really like it pretty much.
I do appreciate those who put in so much effort to portrait the character and those who made their costume and props.

Oh yea, almost forget about this, THIS is Gecko, I told him I would featured him on my blog.

As usual, It’s been awhile since I’ve update, Got a few things to summarize up for the blog & some other stuff, Before I start there’s gonna be a part 1 & 2.
and if you’re the usual readers for other stuff, and have no interested in updates, You can read up some other articles.

So let’s begin, StreetFest was just round the corner recently, and it wasn’t really a very “awesome” event, I should say, Just alright. I’ll probably have the photos up by next post, But don’t expect much to be posted, the reason was I don’t see much “decent” cosplayers, More to say, More of some half-asses/hearted cosplayer which really you don’t feel like snapping.

I’m not saying that I can be better, well of course, that’s the reason why i stop, there are certain things we have to know if we can or cannot do or achieve, but of course, always try or you’ll never know.
Those photos that I’m posting up on the next post are some really well prepared cosplayers.

The other thing i wanna talk about the blog, I’m trying hard to have the blog update as soon as i can, But recently I’ve been working, and never was home early even though I knock off at 5pm, I’m always falling asleep while sitting in front of my computer. But still, I’ve gotta do a little motivation today.

and what actually happen last 2 weeks was my Modem actually died on me, Probably because i turn them on 24/7, But I got the ISP technician over to check it out, and they actually replace me with a newer model which of course looks more elegant then the previous one.

Yupp, That’s the one.
and for the final update, My blog will be on Hiatus after September 16 for a few months I assume, I’ll be going for National Service, and depending on the time I’m able to sign out on weekends, I’ll still be blogging after that period, But not so much, till I’m done with it.

I’ve been forcing myself to update recently, But due to the good weather recently, I can’t resist to sleep. It’s cold and it’s Raining out there. I just love the weather like this. Raining & Cold should be the way.

Alright, back to topic, So ~ We have been back to Helix for the second time I supposed, Just that this time, It wasn’t raining and stuff, But on the other hand, Things wasn’t really very good i should say, I don’t find myself in the mood to snap anything. Well except we make some hilarious videos throughout the night.

This month was kinda like a No Limit to me, Been really trying to enjoy myself for this few months,  The letter for Army could arrive any minute soon, I don’t wanna waste my time. So I kinda collected my pay last week or so. and went ahead to adopt 2 new Daughters!
But before that, I received my package this morning . . .

EMS shipping sure is fast! so what could be in the Package? I open it up and it was DANBO! I brought 2 days ago over at eBay.
I didn’t expect it to arrive this soon. The package was nicely wrapped, Came in with no harm.

Sometimes it’s better to check and think twice before buying from eBay. Sometime things could really get messy when they arrive.

He thought it was safe at last, So he came out of the box. LoL

So let’s get back to my 2 new adopted Daughters, Riannon & Kuro
I spotted Riannon somewhere on a shelf alone by herself, So without second thought, I just brought her back.
As for Kuro, She was nicely station in her box, The 1st owner did not open up, ( I Supposed ) So I did a quick check and it was alright.
I’ve actually been finding for Kuro for quite some time, But to no Avail.

So that’s it!
I’m still in search for Minami Chiaki, Someday I’m gonna have her in.
But I find Kuro Joint was a little loose, I suppose older Nendoroid have loose joint?

So last week, I was at the “Helix” Bridge, with Comrades from CockBrigade, Consider it a newly open tourism spot, We already had plans to stay overnight for a photoshoot, when the crowd is lesser, But turns out it was raining heavily that night, Thing’s don’t go well.

So After watching the Trailer I’ve found on YouTube, It kinda made me LoL for a while there, Maybe the Trailer was a little Hilarious, But comes to gameplay, I’ve gotta say, We have More Snakes, More Co-Op Mission, Coordination.etc

I can’t believe i actually missed the movie, Yona Yona Penguin, was actually out in my local theater, But I was working pretty much around that time, and didn’t get to watch. Few days back, I came across it, and thought might wanna watch the Trailer online, and CoCo face was the main thing that caught my eyes.

For some reason, I have to admit this was probably one of the cutest facial 3D model ever.

I Really wanna watch this, Guess I just have to wait for the DVD release or the Blu-Ray.

So what happen recently, was my 20th birthday, isn’t pretty much of a number, Most people would preferred 21 to be the number, It’s like some awesome milestone in your life that you’ve reach or something.
I just felt like 20 was the entrance of number 2 in your life. Does that makes you feel older in some way? I don’t know, I just thought maybe it’s time to be serious or something, LoL? Maybe I’m not really serious after all, But still, Isn’t just awesome?

A few days ago, on my birthday itself, Actually went celebrating with the people from Cock Brigade, and happen to went down to Sunshine plaza to meet up with Xavier, and Xavier actually gave me a Wei? Schwarz Trial deck of Railgun. Thanks Xaviers! =)

I use to play Wei? Schwarz when there was only few Trial Deck that was released. Gameplay was awesome.
So currently, Having the new deck, It adds 1 more to my collection of the favorite anime that I have.

What else? Met up with my previous classmate Ragu & Wen jie to catch a movie, and so happen that I’ve got this St.Peterburg Russian Vodka from Wen Jie as a gift. I haven’t really try before, and honestly, I have to admit this is pretty much the first time I’ve seen this Vodka, I’m not much of a Liquid person or so. So it’s not much of it to my knowledge that this bottle actually exist.
