I just went surfing around in DannyChoo & found something so interesting that I can’t resist to blog about it, Introducing AR Drone from Parrot.
” The First Quadricopter that can be control by an iPhone Or an iPod Touch. ”

How awesome is that!? But before that, Watch the video first and you’re know how amazed I was when first saw.

Parrot AR.Drone : Flight Demo (HD version)

Parrot AR.Drone : Augmented Reality Video Games Demo

According to the Parrot.corp, This is the first Quadricopter that . . .

- Made in Carbon Fiber and High Resistance PA66 Plastic.
- MEMS ( Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems ) and video processing to ensure a very intuitive piloting of a radio controlled object.
- Wi-Fie and video streaming for a modem interface with a iPhone or iPod Touch.
- Image Processing software for augmented reality.

Well, To be honest, I don’t really quite understand most of it, But damm! It’s a awesome product.
and this thing actually has the ability to measure it’s speed and stationary flight movement.

Most of those auto ability functions are normally use for military applications or what so ever top secret stuff.
